10 Friends Episodes Every Fan Should Rewatch

Posted on April 12, 2026September 12, 2026 by admin

Some sitcom episodes are funny once. The best ones somehow get even better every time you watch them.

Friends has plenty of those episodes.

From Chandler’s legendary sarcasm and Joey’s unforgettable moments to Ross’s disasters, Phoebe’s weirdness, and Monica and Rachel’s relationship chaos, Central Perk gave us countless scenes that fans still quote today.

So if you’re ready for a little ’90s nostalgia, here are 10 Friends episodes every fan should rewatch.

How many of these episodes do you still remember? 😂👇

10. The One with the Blackout

A citywide blackout leaves the Friends stuck in Monica’s apartment — except Ross, who sees it as the perfect opportunity to finally tell Rachel how he feels.

Meanwhile, Chandler somehow ends up trapped in an ATM vestibule with a Victoria’s Secret model, creating one of his funniest early moments.

It’s simple, hilarious, and a perfect example of why the early seasons of Friends were so special.

Would you put “The One with the Blackout” in your Friends Top 10? 😂👇

9. The One with the Prom Video

This episode gave fans one of the most unforgettable Ross and Rachel moments in the entire series.

When the group watches an old prom video, Rachel discovers a side of Ross she never fully understood before. What follows became one of the show’s most memorable romantic scenes.

Funny, emotional, and incredibly nostalgic, this is classic Friends at its best.

Did Ross and Rachel belong together? ❤️👇

8. The One with the Embryos

What begins as a simple competition between the friends quickly turns into one of the funniest games in Friends history.

Monica and Rachel face Chandler and Joey in a trivia contest that reveals just how well — or badly — they know each other.

The escalating bets make the episode even better, eventually putting Monica and Rachel’s apartment on the line.

Could you beat Chandler and Joey in the trivia game? 😂👇

7. The One Where No One’s Ready

Ross just wants everyone to get dressed and leave on time.

That sounds easy.

Instead, almost everything that could possibly delay the group happens inside Monica’s apartment.

Joey and Chandler’s ridiculous argument is especially unforgettable and proves that Friends didn’t need a complicated setting to create great comedy.

Who was the funniest in this episode? 😂👇

6. The One with Ross’s Sandwich

Never underestimate how seriously Ross takes his food.

After someone at work eats his special Thanksgiving leftover sandwich, Ross completely loses it — giving fans one of his most memorable meltdowns.

And then there’s the legendary “Moist Maker.”

It’s ridiculous, relatable, and peak Ross comedy.

Would you be this angry if someone ate your sandwich? 🥪😂

5. The One with Unagi

Ross believes his martial arts training has given him something special: total awareness.

Or, as he calls it… Unagi.

Rachel and Phoebe aren’t impressed, and what follows is a hilarious battle as Ross tries to prove his point.

It’s one of those episodes where Ross becomes funnier every time his plan goes wrong.

Ahhh… Salmon Skin Roll! 😂 Who remembers this one?

4. The One with Joey’s New Brain

Joey getting a new storyline on Days of Our Lives should be good news.

But this is Joey Tribbiani we’re talking about.

His attempts to understand his new character lead to some wonderfully ridiculous moments, while Ross and Monica give us another unforgettable scene involving bagpipes.

Yes… bagpipes.

Could you survive Ross playing the bagpipes? 😂👇

3. The One with the Cop

This episode contains one word that almost every Friends fan can hear in Ross’s voice:

PIVOT!

Ross buys a new couch and tries to move it upstairs with Rachel and Chandler.

What should be a simple job becomes one of the most famous physical-comedy scenes in the entire show.

More than two decades later, fans still quote it.

PIVOT! PIVOT! PIVOT! 😂 Do you still laugh at this scene?

2. The One with the Proposal

Chandler and Monica’s relationship gave Friends some of its sweetest moments, and this two-part story delivers one of the biggest.

What starts with Chandler trying to keep his plans secret eventually becomes an emotional moment that longtime fans had been waiting for.

It’s funny, romantic, and a reminder that Friends could make viewers emotional just as easily as it made them laugh.

Monica and Chandler or Ross and Rachel — which couple was better? ❤️👇

1. The One Where Everybody Finds Out

If there’s one episode that perfectly combines romance, secrets, and classic Friends comedy, this might be it.

Phoebe discovers that Monica and Chandler are secretly together — but instead of simply confronting them, the group turns the situation into an increasingly ridiculous game.

Then comes one of the most memorable Phoebe moments in the series:

“They don’t know that we know they know we know.”

Everything about the episode works: the timing, the characters, the escalating chaos, and the payoff.

For many fans, it’s Friends at its absolute best.

Is “The One Where Everybody Finds Out” the greatest Friends episode ever? 😂👇

Why We Keep Coming Back to Friends

That’s the magic of a great sitcom.

You already know the jokes. You know the characters. You may even remember exactly what happens next — and somehow you still want to watch again.

Friends gave us Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe, along with ten seasons of relationships, arguments, terrible decisions, and unforgettable comedy.

And just like Two and a Half Men, Seinfeld, and The King of Queens, the best episodes still feel like comfort TV years later.

Sometimes you don’t need a new show.

You just need an old favorite.

Which sitcom could you rewatch forever: Friends, Two and a Half Men, Seinfeld, or The King of Queens? 👇
